Christmas Party

The Dubuque Homebuilders and Associates host a grand Christmas Party each December for their members and guests. Many groups make this their business Christmas party for the year! The party, held at the Hotel Julien in downtown Dubuque, provides a festive venue with a large, decorated tree in the lobby and joyous background Christmas music. The chefs at the Hotel Julien prepare a delicious meal and deserts for everyone to enjoy. The current president of our organization will share a few words, introduce the winner of the Ron Smith Award and draw names for the many raffle items given away at the event. It truly is a great way to enjoy and socialize during the Holiday Season.

Best Shot Golf Outing

Our Best Shot Golf Outing is the second of our Summer Events. This event, held at Lacoma Golf Course in East Dubuque, IL, includes 18 holes of golf with cart, steak dinner by the grill masters from Kalmes Catering, new truck Hole-in-One opportunities, flight awards and raffle winners. Course Hole sponsors provide various unique events on the course. Our event platimum sponsor, Horsfield Materials, gold sponsor, Gerhard’s Kitchen & Bath, and Dubuque Homebuilders & Associates invite you enjoy a fun day of golf, networking, and activities.

Picnic in The Park

Our Picnic in the Park event is the first of the Summer Events and is sponsored by Black Hills Energy. This event is a favorite among our members and is held in the month of June at the beautiful Eagle Point Park in Dubuque, Iowa. Members are greeted with a magnificent view overlooking the mighty Mississippi and enjoy the networking and social contact with fellow members. Kalmes Catering, and their grill masters, prepare a delicious grilled steak dinner‑served grill side‑with all the trimmings.

Cruise on the American Lady

Enjoy a casual stroll down the mighty Mississippi on the American Lady Yacht. This is our last Summer Event, held in the month of August. The appetizer bar is provided by Catfish Charlies and offers various well-known options for everyone to enjoy. This event, sponsored by BARD Materials welcomes members and significant others for a night of socializing and relaxation as the boat captain pilots us along the shores of the Mississippi.
