Membership Benefits

The purpose of this organization is to associate homebuilders for the mutual advantage and cooperation with all branches of the building industry including manufacturers, suppliers, financial institutions, and local government. In addition, we benefit the building industry and community as a whole.

Our association strives to maintain high professional standards and sound business methods among our members and to secure cooperative action in advancing the common purposes of our membership and proper consideration of opinion upon questions affecting the building industry.

Dubuque Homebuilders and Associates members participate in monthly meetings presently held at Happy's Place on Rockdale Road, on the first Tuesday of each month. They involve a cocktail hour, dinner, and a program sponsored by one of our members.

During the summer months our association hosts our summer fun outings consisting of the June picnic, July golf outing, and August trap shoot. Meetings are open to members and reservations are required.

We also sponsor a night at the theatre in February and a Christmas party in December, host the Dubuque Tri-State Home and Builders Show in March, and sponsor a Parade of Homes Tour™ for member homebuilders.

Dues are assessed on a calendar-year basis and are due every January.
