Tri-State Home and Builders Show Mission The Dubuque Homebuilders & Associates is a non-profit trade organization formed to promote and enhance the professionalism of home building and associated businesses in the tri-state area. Our goal is to achieve continuity and communication among builders, subcontractors, suppliers, financial institutions and local government to network for community growth and development. Current Board of Directors and Officers History The Dubuque Homebuilders and Associates is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for over 45 years to promote the building industry servicing Dubuque and the Tri-State area. The constitution of the association was adopted January 18, 1963, with articles of incorporation filed on February 27, 1995. Our members consist of builders, subcontractors, and suppliers; as well as financial institutions, homebuilding-related businesses and local government to ensure only the best for our area's growth and development. The Dubuque Homebuilders and Associates is governed by an elected board of directors made up of homebuilders and associates, which ensures an involvement in community and government affairs to obtain a benefit to the association and the community. An executive director manages our office, coordinates our events, and establishes communication with members, government, and the community. Dubuque Homebuilders and Associates sponsors the Tri-State Home and Builders Show each March, an evening of theater at the Grand Opera House, and the annual Parade of Homes Tour™ in the Dubuque area. We are committed to giving back to the community through donations and expertise. Past donations include the Girl Scout Camp Little Cloud renovation project, Boy Scout Camp Claus project, Hospice of Dubuque, Grand Opera House renovation, Friends of the Library, Greater Dubuque Development Corporation, Dubuque County Society for Special Needs, Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, Stonehill Benevolent Society, Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, Fire Safety House, Dubuque Museum of Art, and Dubuque Food Pantry. Our association is especially proud to promote the building trades with two annual scholarships. Office Information:
